The October 7 massacre was deeply traumatic for the Jewish people, but it also brought clarity—urging us to chart our own path, rooted in the reality on the ground, Torah values, and the principles that unite us. From this clarity emerged One Jewish State, a think tank focused on advancing Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. These three words—One Jewish State—should guide our collective future.
ONE
There is only one country designated as the homeland of the Jewish people. In contrast, there are 49 Muslim countries, as well as numerous Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu nations.
JEWISH
Israel is where Jewish values were created and where more Jews live than anywhere else. It is situated on the land given to the Jewish people by God in the words of the Holy Torah.
STATE
Israel is more than a place, it is a sovereign nation. Yet, its sovereignty is challenged both globally and internally. Without control over the land that define its identity, Israel cannot fully be a Jewish state.
ONE JEWISH STATE'S FOUNDER
Ambassador David Friedman, founder of One Jewish State, served as U.S. Ambassador to Israel from 2017-2021. He played a key role in moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and brokering the Abraham Accords. Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021, he has been honored with the National Security Medal and recognized as one of the world’s most influential Jews.
